Tokyu Land Corporation's roots go back to the early part of the 20th century, when the Tokyu Corporation's predecessor, the Den-en Toshi Company (literally "Garden City Company"), began developing residential communities like Den-en Chofu and Senzoku based on the "garden city" concept advanced by British economist Ebenezer Howard. This concept, inherited by TLC when it was spun off from Tokyu Corp. in 1953, has continued to influence TLC development projects over the years. Since its establishment a half century ago, TLC has dedicated itself to providing comfortable, high-quality residential solutions that meet a broad range of customer needs.
