Project summary

Largest development project in Tokyo in the past 10 years*

The Setagaya Nakamachi Project is the first selected project in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Project to Establish Senior Housing with Services Combined with Ordinary Residences. Utilizing a large site of about 34,000 square meters, this project, as a mixed-use development of a condominium and senior housing facility in a category 1 exclusive low-rise residential district, is the largest development project in Tokyo in the past 10 years. It serves as a base for comprehensive community care, and realizes cross-generation interaction urban development where many generations from child-rearing age to old age can live comfortably.

*Largest site area for mixed-use development of senior housing with services and condominium in a category 1 exclusive low-rise residential district among properties developed in the Tokyo Metropolitan area since 1995 (MRC survey: Condominium data based on MRC surveys/supplements from January 1, 1995 to August 15, 2015)

Realizing a community where residents can age with peace of mind

On the site are the condominium, BRANZ CITY Setagaya Nakamachi (252 units) and the senior housing facility Grancreer Setagaya Nakamachi (251 units). In addition, by providing a one-stop living support service for seniors, Home Creer, and a nursing care office, a system has been created to ensure that residents can continue living with peace of mind in the area they are used to. By giving residents of BRANZ the choice of relocating to Grancreer on the site in the future, we are promoting cross-generation interaction urban development.

Creation of multi-generational interaction open to the community

We have also established Community Plaza, a shared-used facility that can be used not only by residents of both BRANZ and Grancreer, but also by local residents. In addition to the functions provided by the licensed nursery school and nursing care office, which serves as a base for comprehensive community care, Homecreer offers a range of services such as a nursing care prevention program and culture classes where residents can serve as teachers. We also provide other various cross-generation interaction programs in cooperation with Tokyo City University and promote multi-generational interaction open to the community.
