Women’s Empowerment

In order to create a company where all employees are evaluated fairly based on their abilities, regardless of their gender or life stage, we are working to promote women's empowerment from the dual perspectives of career development and retention. Our initiatives include a personnel system that takes into account the life events that women experience, and a counseling service.

Specific Measures for Women's Empowerment

Personnel System

In order to encourage diverse career development, we have introduced a personnel system in which promotions after a certain number of years with the company are decided based on applications by the employee. This enables employees to accelerate their career progression in anticipation of life events as well as challenge themselves to seek promotions after the pressure of major life events has subsided. In this way, we are creating a corporate culture that allows each individual to play an active role that matches their own values and personal circumstances.

Training Leaders and Promoting Cultural Change

We have introduced a range of systems that enable employees to proactively develop their careers regardless of gender, such as skills development programs in which employees who apply for promotion are coached by managers from other divisions, and participation in external training programs in order to build external networks.

Women's Health Initiatives

In order to improve health literacy, we have established a counseling service, and conduct seminars on health issues specific to women.
