Tokyu Land Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Hiroaki Hoshino; hereinafter “Tokyu Land”) and Scrum Studio Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Masami Takahashi; hereinafter “Scrum Studio”) held a Demo Day on Thursday, December 4, to mark the first anniversary of SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYA (hereinafter “SDS”), which they jointly operate at Shibuya Sakura Stage (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). The event showcased the outcomes of the six-month program, Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator, launched in June 2025 with 10 startups from Japan and abroad.
Since its opening on January 23, 2025, SDS has served as a global community hub for deeptech startups collaborating with world-class partners led by faculty members from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
