GMO Internet, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director, Executive Officer: Tadashi Ito; “GMO Internet” below), a member of the GMO Internet Group; Tokyu Land Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Tatsuaki Tanaka, “Tokyu Land” below) and BroadBand Tower, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Senior Executive Director & Member of the Board: Mieko Nakagawa, “BroadBand Tower” below) are working together to establish a new site for “GMO GPU Cloud” (URL: https://gpucloud.gmo/), a high-performance GPU cloud service supporting AI development in Japan. The site will be located at “Ishikari Renewable Energy Data Center No. 1,” a data center powered by 100% renewable energy within the Ishikari Bay New Port Area RE Zone*1 in Ishikari City, Hokkaido. The three companies are targeting an operational launch by the end of 2026.
